Roadways through the Scenic Arizona Strip
Welcome...
to the Navajo Bridge Interpretive
Center and the eastern gateway to
the Arizona Strip.
Located in the northwest corner of
the state, the Arizona Strip is
geographically isolated from the
rest of Arizona by the 280-mile-long
Grand Canyon.
The highways across northern
Arizona and southern Utah follow
generally the same historic
transportation routes use by
Native Americans, early explorers,
pioneers and Mormon settlers.
The Arizona Strip offers
unsurpassed scenery and abundant
recreational opportunities. Major
attractions include Grand Canyon
and Zion National Parks,
Glen Canyon and Lake Mead
National Recreation Areas,
Pipe Spring National Monument
and Kaibab National Forest.
